WILLING COMPANY / A VERSION OF HAPPINESS
BettySoo has been fortunate to perform with some of the finest musicians anywhere. Her band, Willing Company, is a fluid mix of players and singers, all superbly talented and whose collective experience is impressive and storied.
When BettySoo started performing with her band, it became clear each person was great company to spend time with, and they were willing to play, even when the venue was less than ideal, the pay meager, or the hours long. Thankful for their great friendship (and skills!) and for joining her despite their busy schedules touring and performing with other artists, she decided to call her incredible – and ever-shifting – ensemble Willing Company.
Starting in 2013, A Version of Happiness has accompanied BettySoo and will appear on her forthcoming album. The players in A Version of Happiness include cellist Brian Standefer and drummer Dave Terry.
